just kiddin... kind of😜

We absolutely LOVE to cook together, we always joke around when one of our meals turns out so delicious, that when we open up our own restaurant one day, it’ll be on the menu. These, of course have all been little jokes that we had with each other. Until one day, I was having a discussion with a client (oooh ya...I also own a salon where I am the skin specialist!) about our limited restaurant selection here in the valley. I thought about how nice it would be if we could have a few more places to eat, especially somewhere to get a good salad. Then my mind started swirling with ideas.

When Christian got home that night (from a cold, windy day out on the mountain....see I was only half kidding) I told him all that I had been thinking, and he agreed that the ideas I had been coming up with throughout the day, should be put into action. With those ideas though I also needed the time. I run another business, I’m a mother, he just opened up a landscaping business and we had plans to move into a home together. With all of that, Im telling you right now that I knew in my soul I had to make this happen. It felt overwhelming and not at all possible in the moment so i put it on the back burner.

I know someone above those wyoming skies knows me and knew I needed a little shove (or should I say "fall") to get things moving in the right direction. So I shouldn't have been surprised at all when a couple weeks later while spending time out doing what we love I fell hard and broke my arm and I was unable to work for 8 weeks. I said quite literally "fuck it" we're doing it, babe! With all the time in the world and the support of Christian, I took the plunge and officially started the process! We have been going full force on it ever since. 

We are so excited to open up a space that offers healthy food, drinks, a fun environment and more! 

Also, last year I found out my favorite foods were the reason I was getting sick so much, and eating without getting sick has been a long road of trial and error. Most of the items at Tossin’ Salad will be gluten free for this reason. So if you have a sensitivity to gluten/wheat we will be able to inform you on what items to stay away from! We are so happy to be able to offer something like this to our community. We will be growing and bringing in more items throughout the coming months with bigger plans for our future!
